Site Wide Fire Compartmentation Works

Continuing our long term relationship with the Trust we were pleased to be appointed to provide the Quantity Surveying services on this project.

We were involved from the procurement of the project onwards and services involved reporting on tenders obtained by the Trust, providing cost reporting and advising on cost matters to the Trust.

The project was complex and involved fire precaution and fire insulation works to the majority of the building stock on the Trusts Luton and Dunstable hospital site.

Opening up areas for fire protection had to be carefully planned with the various clinical departments to prevent undue disruption to welfare of patients and staff alike whilst maintaining the upmost management to infection and hygiene control.
