Pitstone Sports Pavilion

The project brief was to extend and refurbish the existing Sports Pavilion to meet the Football Association Ground Grading (FA) compliant facilities, Sport England clubhouse requirements and to provide Parish Council office and community use space.

We were very pleased to be selected by the client, Pitstone Parish Council as project Quantity Surveyors and Employers Agent on this local community project. Works commenced in Spring 2020 and final completion of the project was achieved to timescale and budget by October 2020.

The Pavilion and adjacent site had to remain accessible to users throughout the construction process and no plant access was allowed across any of the pitches. The football pitches remained accessible throughout the construction period for maintenance and team training. These restrictions to the main contractor demanded careful management by our team to ensure compliance with the client’s requirements. Regular site visits were implemented. Extensive works were carried out to the main Pavilion Building and extensions included full fitting out of Changing Areas for both Teams & Officials. Extensive external works also incorporated to include additional parking, ticket turnstiles and Spectators Areas.

Pitstone Parish Council now have an outstanding Sports Facility & Facilities for use by the local community.
